2022.01.17 13:59 parataxis Hangboarding Advice

Looking for advice on how to add hangboarding to a regular climbing routine. I’ve used hangboarding previous seasons in the spring when I wasn’t climbing in the winter, but now that I live somewhere with a climbing gym I’ve been able to climb 3 times/week in the off season the last two winters. I’ve been climbing for about 10 years, very regularly for 4, and have hit a plateau for the past year or so.
I have a Metolius hangboard, I just haven’t used it before at a time I was also climbing regularly. I’ve only injured a finger once all these years and I’d like to keep it that way!
How often could/should I add hangboarding to the mix? Currently climbing v5/11c regularly with an occasional v6/12a. Thanks!

Breakout hasn’t happened yet and downtrend looks over - position day for this Sprott backed Silver play Taking $SSVR positions today, buying low after charts have looked reluctant to test declining support again and reactions haven't been terrible while watching the high potential breakout that didn't happen yet as of last week.
https://preview.redd.it/xxn78vme1ac81.jpg?width=1537&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=fb32a9880df8e920623af495321617aae077b871
Summa Silver is a deep value Silver play. They have a flagship property in Fraser institute’s #1 jurisdiction, Nevada on the Tonopah Trend and they also have an active property in another top tier jurisdiction in New Mexico. They’ve been hitting (and continue to hit) multi 4 figure intercepts.
Their charts have been primed for breakout, with shorter term rising support attempting to be maintained. Higher lows are telling, and triangle is pinching. Research Cap put out a buy rating (on Dec 8) with a PT of $2.50. Furthermore, Sprott owns 18% of SSRV which really sets them apart from other pumps using the Sprott name.
As a fully cashed-up (~$7M cash position) with a tight sharescruture 64MM OS, only 27% retail there’s a lot of promising growth to get behind. Take a look for yourself, check this recent and solid video interview with Galen McNamara, Summa Silver CEO discussing catalysts in the silver bull market.

2022.01.17 13:59 Clear_Scale_6524 Combined listing?

I have been having trouble moving a few nightgowns although they are priced cheap, they have been sitting for months though. Should I just do a listing for all, say, size M nightgowns for one price together? Do you think that would make it move better?

2022.01.17 13:59 Duytune Signal Flare - A Quality of Life Item

Signal Flare - A Quality of Life Item (Concept, based on a game I just had)

The Signal Flare is a fire item (similar to the lighter) costing 40$. You can buy two. It appears as a narrow metal stick.

https://preview.redd.it/6nyqthhp3ac81.png?width=1000&format=png&auto=webp&s=875148c901e35db7c27e9653bc9823aebaae7331

When right clicked, the Signal Flare ignites in a bright flash of light, consuming it and revealing all ghosts in front of it.
The Signal Flare reveals ghosts caught in its flash, making them blink much slower for 5 seconds and reducing their movement speed significantly for 0.7 seconds. This allows you to take a picture easier, since it is really damn hard to take a photo of a ghost who won't stop blinking.
- Creates heat, which may aggravate heat-based ghosts. Can be used to determine if a ghost is moving faster in the cold.
- Much weaker than a smudge stick in terms of defense, but good for breaking line of sight. Optimally, you should not use these for safety.

This is a crutch item for consistency, since I find it frustrating when all 4 of my teammates take a picture of the ghost in direct line of sight and none of us get the photo because it was blinking. That's about it.

2022.01.17 13:59 DarthTrader357 OneWeb - Can RKLB take over launch services for OneWeb?

OneWeb launches as much as 36 satellites at a time using Russians and basically anyone they can get a ride share with.
Their satellites are 150kg, a nice niche target for RKLB's electron. Neutron can launch 53 of those satellites.
It seems to me - given that RKLB also probably sells reaction wheels to oneweb (thanks u/OrangeDucky ) and that SolAero makes solar panels for them, that if RKLB can get its launch cadence up, and get its reusability up, that RKLB can become competitive on launching oneweb satellites fast and accurately.
This to me gives OneWeb strategic flexibility in deployment, and since their constellation won't have nearly as many satellites as Starlink, its redundancy is much less ensured. So replacing failed nodes in the constellation (stars? lol), will be more business critical. Which is a great role for Electron.
Building out a constellation like OneWebs is a perfect role for Neutron.
Thoughts?

2022.01.17 13:59 incredibleinkpen "Where are the fish in this aquarium?"

"They're at the bottom of the tanks. A problem with the water, you see."
"Well, tell them to swim around a bit. My son has come to view these fish and you're telling me that they're tired!"
"No, sir. You've misunderstood. Look, the fish aren't tired."
"Lazy, then? Come on, wake the sausages up. We've paid £50 each and the fish are asleep."
"They're dead, God damnit! They died last night, every single one. And I tell you, each of the bastards had a sinister goodbye, they did. It was full of bleakness and shivers for those fish, they quivered to their last, they eyeballed me, asking for help, but I couldn't do anything. It was too late. Then they flopped, one by one, to the bottom of the tank and that was it they were no more."
"I'm not sure that was entirely necessary. Such graphic explanation."
"I wanted to spare your boy the details but you gave me no chance with your insistence. Perhaps squire, it would benefit you to be less forthcoming in the future. What do you say to that?"
"No, brother, let us fight. Fight here and now."
Father and aquarium assistant fought there amidst the baffled spectators, who all were disappointed by what they had seen so far today, but, upon witnessing this extravaganza, their eyes sparkled and they grew fins. Suddenly, everyone leapt and landed inside the fish tank and before they knew it people were watching them, tapping the glass and smiling.
"We did it," the voices muttered, "they're inside."

2022.01.17 13:59 stillalive40 Walgreens tried to kill me

Long story, tl;dr at the bottom
For a number of years I have used Walgreens as my pharmacy due to a number of reasons (location, on the way home, etc.) and they are able to take this one specific "discount card" without making a big deal about it. For some reason, CVS has a fit about it and the other "small town" pharmacies don't accept it.
Anyways... Walgreens has notoriously been difficult with refilling my medications, specifically two related for epilepsy.
Here is my normal routine for needing to refill a prescription: Wait until I have 7 days left, initiate a refill, get denied by insurance, wait until 3 days left, be told they are out of stock and they are ordering it, and hope they get the order before I run out. The pharmacist and pharmacy techs have told me that they only place orders on Friday so I need to place my order sooner than when I need it so they can place an order for it. It seems though, every single time I place my order, I get a phone call saying "Hey we wanted to let you know that it's too soon for you to pick this up so we can't have this ready for you..."
Just a small thought... You'd think every pharmacy would have at least one bottle of most common medications in case of emergencies like this to hand out a few days of a prescription until the medication comes in.
Fast forward to today... Pretty big snow storm (for us) in the south. I do my normal routine. I'm picking up a different prescription and had already done my normal pre-ordering to be told at the window "You can't have that until tomorrow" deal. (Saturday) OK, no problem.
Saturday comes, prescription not ready.
Sunday comes, no prescription. Heavy snow, and all stores are closed. I am officially out of medication today.
Monday morning comes and I call the store. Store is closed.
Alright, no problem. I call my neurologist. They're closed. (slight panic) I call my primary who then gives me a one time prescription to the only pharmacy that has the medication 20 miles away. Alright, that's doable, just a little hard to get to with the icy roads.
About 15 minutes later I get a notification text from Walgreens stating my prescription is being filled. "What?" I say out loud. I'm confused. I call the Walgreens and get the "Sorry, this store is temporarily closed." So I proceed to call the other pharmacy and ask if they were able to fill the prescription and they say "Looks like Walgreens made a claim on your insurance already..." Kind of interesting how that happened when the store was closed. So, the pharmacist who was very kind, called my insurance to try and do a reversal on their claim to no avail.
I end up calling Walgreens hotline who tells me that because the pharmacy has already begun filling it they are the only ones who can cancel it, but I can try calling a (different) local store to see if they can do something about it.
I ended up calling a different local store who was very puzzled at how they were able to fill the prescription while they were closed as well and couldn't reverse it. They were able to contact the pharmacist at the closed Walgreens and unclaim the medication from my insurance.
**tl;dr*\* A Walgreens that was closed made a claim on my insurance preventing me from picking up a seizure medication, but after about an hour of going back and forth I was eventually able to get it filled at a different pharmacy.
